Ingredients
- 2-3 tablespoons of Irish whiskey at your discretion
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- Coffee
- Cream, whipped or non
Cooking Instructions
According to Wikipedia, true Irish coffee (not “fake), wasn’t conceived until the 1940’s. A true Irishman would tell you not to ruin the whiskey with the coffee, but it’s only a few tablespoons out of the whole bottle! Save the rest for later when you feel like doing the Irish jig!
Step 1: Add Irish whiskey and brown sugar to your mug.
Step 2: Stir whiskey and sugar together, then add coffee.
Step 3: Top off coffee with cream. (We are going for the whipped… we can’t help ourselves!)
Step 4: Sip coffee through the cream.
If you need to fluff it up a bit more, add some Irish Cream. You know the one… Bailey’s (Yum)! Now it is no longer a traditional “Irish Coffee,” but you have got yourself a warm cup of deliciousness. Enjoy!
