Smashed Brussels Sprouts


  • 2 pounds fresh Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Parsley, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Boil the Brussels sprouts in salted water until they are tender.  While they are boiling, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2: Smash them!

Step 3: Mix the garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil and add it to the smashed Brussels sprouts.

Step 4: Add the cheeses on top and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 425 degrees F.
