Mug Sugar Cookies


  • 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) butter
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs yolks
  • 6 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sprinkles
  • Whipped cream or buttercream frosting for topping, optional

Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Place butter in a mug and melt in microwave, about 30 seconds.

Step 2: Add sugar and stir together.

Step 3: Thoroughly mix in the egg yolks.

Step 4: Stir in flour, salt, and sprinkles until combined.  Divide the mixture between two mugs.

Step 5: Top with sprinkles and cook in the microwave separately for about 45 seconds to 1 minute.  (Timing estimate is based on a 1200 Watt microwave and may vary depending on your appliance.)

Step 6: Serve with buttercream frosting or whipped cream on top.
