Homemade Milkshakes

  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional topping)
  • 4 scoops vanilla or strawberry ice cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup
  • Whipped cream (optional topping)
  • 4 scoops vanilla or chocolate ice cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream (optional topping)
  • Chocolate chips (optional topping)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Gather the ingredients for your vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate milkshake.

Step 2: Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.  For a thicker shake, use less milk or use more ice cream.  You may also place the blended shake in the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes to help thicken it up.  Frozen fruit will also help make it thicker.

Step 3: Pour the milkshake into a glass and top with whipped cream, sprinkles, more flavoring, or any of your favorite toppings.
