Chocolate Fudge Muffins


  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 ounces melted chocolate
  • Sugar decor/sprinkles, as desired

Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Line a 6-hole muffin tin with paper liners.

Step 2: In a mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Add eggs and vanilla.  Beat well until fluffy.

Step 4: Fold in flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.  Stir until just combined.

Step 5: Fold in melted chocolate.  Stir until smooth.

Step 6: Scoop the batter into the paper liners.

Step 7: Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 20-22 minutes.

Step 8: Cool the muffins on a wire rack.  Drizzle the muffins with additional melted chocolate and decorate with your choice of sugar decor or sprinkles.
