Damage & Return Policy

Cosmetic Warranty – 5 Days

  • Immediate consumer action is required. It is the responsibility of the consumer to report any cosmetic damage to Custom Distributors within 5 days of delivery.

Return & Restock Policy

  • A restocking charge of up to 50% (fifty percent) for product(s) returns or change orders will be enforced after the product has been ordered for a client(s) project under circumstances beyond our control.
  • Custom Distributors does not accept the return of trim or accessory kits once they have been delivered.
  • Custom Distributors is not responsible for expenses, fees, or other costs incurred by customers as a result of defective or incompatible products.

All merchandise will be inspected upon return to our warehouse. Credits will be issued within ten (10) days of the date of actual return. Custom Distributors reserves the right to refuse return of any and all merchandise.

Damage Policy

  • Custom Distributors must be notified within five (5) days of the delivery regarding any concealed damage.
  • Any merchandise being returned must have it’s original carton.
  • Any merchandise being returned to Custom Distributors must be complete. This includes all manuals, use & care guides, registration material, as well as anything else packed with the original product carton.
  • Our delivery companies will not, knowingly, leave damaged merchandise unless otherwise instructed by the purchaser or agent of the purchaser.
  • There will not be an additional freight charge to exchange or return any item meeting the above guidelines.
  • Custom Distributors is not responsible for expenses, fees, or other costs incurred by customers as a result of defective or incompatible products.
  • Custom Distributors reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange, or assess a charge for used or incomplete merchandise returned or exchanged.

Manufacturer’s Appliance Warranty

  • The warranty policy for your purchased appliance is expressly stated within the Use & Care Manual provided by the manufacturer and/or available through the manufacturer’s website.
  • Custom Distributors will help guide consumers when applicable, however, Custom Distributors does not provide nor cover the warranty offered directly by the manufacturer of your appliance.
  • It is the responsibility of the consumer to follow registration instructions to ensure that your warranty is properly recognized by the manufacturer when applicable.

Installation Warranty – 30 Days

  • Upon installation of your appliance by Custom Distributors, you will receive a 30-Day Installation Warranty for the work performed in your or your customer’s home.
  • Custom Distributors’ 30-Day Installation Warranty is void if the appliance has been moved or modified by another party, or if the connections made by Custom Distributors are altered in any way following our partial or complete installation.
  • Custom Distributors is not a general contractor and our installation work is limited to installing the appliance itself and/or connecting to your work completed prior to our visit.
