- 2 sweet onions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt & peppre to taste
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup grated gruyere
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Step 1: Toss 2 sliced sweet onions with 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1/4 cup water, and salt and pepper in a baking dish. Cover; roast at 425 degrees F until tender, 25 minutes. Toss 1 cup croutons and 1/2 cup grated gruyere with some parsley, olive oil, salt and pepper; sprinkle over the onions and bake 5 more minutes.
